I apologise in advance if this is a dumb question.  Does a PPC need to
run any type of virus protection software when surfing the net?  If I
don't have it on my PC I am infected seconds after going on line.  New
to the PPC world.  Thanks in advance..KCD

There are currently no known virus for this platform. So far the programs
seem around required users to install the program - this doesn't mean it
can't be done, but replication is not as easy as in the desktop/laptop
world. There are a couple of antivirus around though, like Symantec and
AirScanner.
