I have a new dell x50v and a motorola t720 cell phone. I have a data cable
form GOMADIC to connect the 2 devices, however, i cannot seem to dial out.

What do i need in terms of a specific driver to allow me to dialup my isp? I
was able to do this with my old startac and my palm.

thanks for any help

The Axim X50v, as all pocket pcs, is able to dial an ISP for an internet
connection.

You should go to Settings | Connections | Connections and create an Internet
connection with all the necessary dialup details.

Hi,
The only option i see is to use a hayes compatible modem. My phone is
internet/data capable, but does not respond to the dialer. I have no other
options

You have to select "Do not wait for dial tone to call" in the settings and
you also have to be subscribed to GPRS with your carrierand dial ATDT*99# or
something like that (consult your carrier, they should be able to help you)
