Problems with iPAQ hx4705 and Linksys wireless network

I just bought the iPAQ, and it connects fine with CompUSA's in-store
wireless network. When I try to connect to mine at home (Linksys BEFW11S4
ver. 3), the iPAQ shows the linksys available, but I can't connect to it. My
wireless home network is working with the other devices (Linksys WGA11B
Wireless game Adapter and Linksys WET11 Bridge Adapter). Anyone got a clue
whats going on here? I updated the Linksys router to the latest firmware
also.

My guess is that you have wrongly defined the WEP key in the IPAQ, or have
forgotten to define the IPAQ's MAC address in MAC address filter (in case
you use it).

Try disabling all security in your network and see if you connect. If you
do, re-enable the security settings one by one. At the moment it looses the
network, you have found the setting that is creating the problem.

I don't have WEP turned on, nor do I have MAC Address filter on. Both
are off. In fact, I have all security in the network turnrd off.
Driving to work this morning, I ran WiFiFoFum on the iPAQ, and I found
100+ networks, several of which had a strong enough signal that it
asked if I wanted to connect.

Well, I solved this problem by buying a new Linksys WRT54G router. There was
just somethhing flaky about the BEFW11S4 that didn't like my hx4705.
