Hi, I have another similar problem. I have a samsung omnia sghi900 running
windows mobile 6.1.
I am trying to connect to the proxy server of my university's wireless
server. it also uses WPA2 and AES. Somehow, i enter my username and password
and access the intranet but when i want to access internet like hotmail it
displays an error in connection message, IE says the connection was lost.
opera browser says cannot locate remote server.
the guy in networking services said the problem was with htc too(both run
WM6.1. however, iphone works perfectly. he said the phone was not saving the
protocol/proxy. i noted that everytime i connect, it asks me for my user and
pass, which are supposed to be saved.

is there any additional info u need. is there any quick or soon fix for this
problem. thank u

In WPA2 and AES are both supported in Windows Mobile 6.1.  You can change
the encryption and method if you go into the settings of the WiFi connection
in Start>Settings>Connections>Wireless.  You will NOT get this option if you
use TouchFLO.

As for the certificate, you should have the a .cer file that you can copy to
your device.  Once it is on there, tap it and it will install.  That should
be all you need.

You may want to reach out to your administrator as well as they be able to
help with any other configuration required.
