Client's PocketPC (ipaq h5455) has a weird issue that i am personally
witnessing...

whenever a meeting reminder pops up, the audio recording program starts and
continues to record little chunks of 2 second clips and does not stop...this
is consistently happening when the meeting reminder pops up.

please anyone know of a KB or anything -- i'm clearly not searching on the
right terms or nobody is experiencing this...

I rarely suggest a hard reset, but this might just be one of those cases.
When it records, is it using the built in recorder or some add-on audio
software?  If it's add on software, remove that and soft reset.  But if
it's all just built in software, it's in the ROM and seems like the
notification program is spilling over into the recording program  or vice
versa - thus requiring an hard reset to remedy.
