can anyone tell me how to realign the screen if its so far out of alignment you can't use the touch screen. I don't want to hard reset. On my PPC, there's a function called Align Screen in the settings. The problem is getting to it if your screen is misaligned to begin with to the point you can't control menus. One tip, if you can open the onscreen keyboard, tap a key and watch to see which key actually responds... this gives you an indication on how to compensate when navigating to the above. After I saw this post last night, I attempted to get to it using only the ppc buttons and found that it was impossible. Long, long ago... Jornada 548 era, it was possible to use a button press combo to power it up with the screen alignment utility launched, but have not seen mention of this in years. I don't want to hard reset. On my Dell Axim X3 I can press power and hold the rocker switch on the side at the same time and it will bring up the align screen dialog. The manufacturer of your Pocket PC probably has something similar, but you may have to call support or browse the online FAQs to find it out. You might want to try some combinations and see if you can find it by trial and error. |
