My introduction to WM5 over the past couple of days has turned up the
fact that it is no longer possible to select multiple contacts for
things such as creating a multiaddress email or beaming multiple
contacts to another pda.

1 - Does anyone have any additional information on alternate solutions
to these needs.

2 - Is anyone other than me impacted negatively by this change?

Bev,

Frankly I didn't know this feature was gone in WM5.  I immediately loaded up
Pocket Informant after my upgrade and didn't really bother to check the
standard application.

That said, Pocket Informat does allow you to select multiple contacts and
beam them.  However, I haven't found a way yet to select multiple Contacts
and have it put them in the TO of an email.  Still piddling...
