I made a mistake.  I was setting up a new email account on my HP iPAQ 6515,
but, instead of selecting POP or IMAP, I took MMS.
Now I have two MMS account and I can't find any way to remove the second MMS
account.  Anybody can help ?

under options in inbox, tap/hold the account and select delete.

Note... tap/hold is essentialy the same action as <right-click> on a
pc... if no other options are visible, try tap/hold

Hi Beverly,

Thank you, but I couldn't :

1. Select Inbox under Messaging,
2. Select Tools - Options - Accounts tab
   Only the options appear:
      New ...
      Text Messages
i.e. there is no MMS account displayed, so unable to delete.  Apparently,
MMS accounts are a different type of account which are not displayed.  Other
types of account, such as POP are displayed.

Hope you could help.

Tnx,
jonathan

What version os is your device?

In WM5, there is a MMS Configuration menu option then the server tab
that takes you to a list of the servers which can be deleted by the
tap/hold method...

I do not have an MMS account on my 2003se device so I can't help there.

Hi,

I'm using Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Version 4.21.1088 (Build
15110.2.6.2)

I did a Google search : it seems like others have encountered it too but no
one has a solution other than to restore from Backup.  Someone suggested
using Registry Editor, but I couldn't find the key.  Even if I can find
anything that seems to be "the key", I'm apprehensive if I unwittingly leave
some unwanted remnants.
