suggest reposting at microsoft.public.pocketpc.developer
2003 and wm5 both use the same .net app environment... there are issues
such as wm5's problems with storage card file access and possible i/o
issues if hardware control is involved, but, anything written for 2003
should work on wm5

With some unsupported tricks, you _might_ be able to build for WM 5
for Pocket PC and have the result run on Pocket PC 2003. Much easier
to build for Pocket PC 2003 and have the result run on WM 5 for Pocket
PC.
