I just got the Cingular 8125 Windows mobile 5.0 phone. I am looking for the
least expensive GPS solution. I don't need anything fancy since I would not
use it to often. I have Microsoft Map Point 2006 so I believe I have the
software that I need. What about the hardware? What are my options?
Thanks
Alan

Hi Alan, I use Mapopolis for my Samsung i700, the streets and maps version
of Microsoft does not meet my expectations is too blend and lacks of many
options, as far hardware I use a etrex gps unit (the yellow one) the least
expensive and easy to use, since my PPC does not have bluetooth I had to
buy the data cable with the right adapter from The suplynet, (great cable
connectors) and that's all I use, taking in consideration that your PPC has
bluetooth you should take advantage of this and find any GPS unit that you
can afford with bluetooth try looking for Holux GPslim great buy and very
small. HTH
