Can;t delete some sound files or video after using media player

When I play a song, I then close media player, and try to delete, but it
says file may be in use??? cannot delete.  how do I get it out of use???

You need to stop the application running in the
background. Look up running programs for your unit. Stop
the app and then you can delete the file. Cheers

You can't delete it because Windows Media Player still has the file open
although you pressed the X to close the app. On PocketPC this doesn't
happen, it just sort of minimises it. Instead - pull up the onscreen
keyboard, tap ctrl then press q and it will quit Windows Media Player. Then
using File Explorer you should be able to delete the file.
