Hi,

> Is it relevant that VS 2008 has no entry for Mobile 6?

It shouldn't be if all you are wanting to use is the remote tools (just
select the Windows Mobile 5 Default Device option). However if you would
like to correct this and make use of additional functionality within Visual
Studio you can install one or more of the Windows Mobile 6 SDK(s).

These are available from Microsoft Downloads at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=06111A3A-A651-4745-88EF

Hope this helps,
