Sorry if this is a big newbie question, new to the Smartphone world.

I would *love* to get NFL scores sent to my phone on Sundays. What's the
best way to do that? I know I can surf the Internet, I am looking for
something akin to the pager services that send scores as soon as they happen
(or close - sites like ESPN don't update their mobile site sometimes for
6-12 hours)

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Don

you need some SMS service that would deliver it.
(in US the MMS is even less popular so SMS remains the
only option for you).

however SMS content is not topic of this newsgroup. I
would rather recommend you to call your carrier -
customer service - and ask the same question like
this "are you offering some SMS services for sport
events?".

Over here in the UK there are loads and loads of services offering the
equivilant for Soccer.

Like when a goal is scored, half time scores, full time scores, for the
whole leagues or a certain team.

Yahoo looks good! I'll try it out this weekend while I am sitting at the
football game. Thanks!
