WinCE5.0 instability

I have gone through the steps of migrating our BSP from ce.net to ce
5.0. The platform runs ok with the basic pb5.0, but with the 06/07
roll-ups it becomes unstable. The os crashes in various places such as
device, filesys, explorer and the security modules. Since source is
not provided for these modules, tracking down the source of the
problem is difficult.

If you don't know what is causing these bugs, could you offer some
advice as to how to track down the problem?

applied?

I did the clean and sysgen. Apparently build and sysgen is a bad
thing.

You should NEVER to a build and sysgen.  It can leave your system in a
state unable to build.  In fact, I've removed it from my Menu just so
that it never gets accidentally clicked.

Still, Dean's point is valid. You should try installing all the QFEs
up through June 2008 and see if that helps.

I have done that. I still get crashes in the security api...which
doesn't have source code.
Can anyone recommend a method of troubleshooting the problem? What
resources are available when one reaches a major roadblock such as
this?
