I have an HP Jornada 720 that has been running fine with ActiveSync 3.1.
Recently I had to perform a hard factory default reset and have been unable
to re-establish a partnership.  The Partnership Wizard does not appear and

Is it usual for my phone (HTC Touch2) to automatically switch from using its
own HSDPA/3G connection for data to my Windows XP's either LAN or Broadband
connection?

ActiveSync (on Windows XP) used to start the synchronization with my WM
device automatically right after hooking up the device to the USB
connection. I had to plug in the USB plug (or put the device into the
cradle) and - a few seconds later - synchronization would start.

I just got the latest WM 6.0 Pocket PC (brand withheld) which implements MS
Bluetooth. It supports SPP among other profiles. For instance, I can set an
outbound port to a remote device and send data through it (via the proper COM
