Activesync does not work when I log on as a "user," but does when I log on
as an "administrator" in Windows XP.  How do I allow activesync to work for

I've a HP IPAQ 2210 and a pc with Outlook 2003/Active sync 8.0
Active Sync won't synchronize the Outlook tasks and Calendar.
It says that they are "not installed"
(On the pc, the Outlook Calendar and Tasks run OK)

I have ipaq 3955.  Occasionally I will place my ipaq on the cradle and
instead of syncing it will ask me to set up new partnership or log on as
guest.  This is very annoying.  I thought I could just make a new
partnership and then rename it or something, but I haven't had any luck.  ...

When installing ActiveSync on XP Pro SP1 I get a message telling me that the
installation can't continue because it can't copy wceusbsh.cat. KB article
825438 tells me that it occurs because I do not have administrator rights,
