have installed Windows 2003 SBS standard at work, and have tryed to setup my
PDA to work with Exchange mailbox.
Activesync returns sync status is on the device for calendar, contacts and
inbox. Tasks and favourites are synchronized.

Why is there occasionally (maybe every other day) an alert at the
begin of ActiveSync's synchronization warning me that there is some
program accessing my mail system and asking me, whether I want to
allow this for [1|2|5|10] minutes?

I am confused.  Recently I had to reset my system.. So at this time I
thought it would be a good time to update my Activesync to the lates version
3.8.
The problem is that I don't want to rename my pocket pc and I want to

I just replaced a laptop where the user had his PDA synced to the old
laptop. Both were running Outlook C/W mode. The new laptop uses Office2003
which has the ability to cache the exchange store locally. the old one
didn;t have that ability. Don't know if that matters, but there ...

PC@home has a contacts of several categories. They all
are sync'ed to PocketPC in 'Guest' - I sync mail via
office PC

OK I have an iPAQ h1945 and am running Windows XP. I "upgraded" to the A/S
3.8 the other day, and ever since I've had nothing but problems.
First it was with AvantGo, then I saw the disclaimer on MS site about that.
So I reinstalled it. Now, it still doesn't work.

through the motions, no errors, but nothing is downloaded UNLESS
Symantec Mail Security 4.6 is disabled.

Today, my Qtek 9090 main and backup battery ran out and my machine
when back to the factory settings.  Whe I got into the office, the first
thing that I did was perform a restore from yesterday's backup.  All
proceeded well, but it got to the end and told me that a number of files

My PPC 2003 has quit syncing with Outlook/Exchange.  This started about 2
weeks ago.  I had seen a post about something that could be downloaded, that
would change the encryption or something like that to allow the Pocket to
sync.

Recently found an old ipaq which we upgraded to mobile 2002.
Synced up with a laptop, which also has a SPV E200 synced on it. that has no
probelem syncing with the server or the laptop. The Ipaq syncs with the
laptop, but not the server. any idea to sort this out.
