Even after closing active sync down on my PPC, if I go back to
settings/system/memory/running programs about an hour later I see it is
running again even though it is not connected to my PC.

I am trying to sync only selected categories on my PC (Outlook)  to my PPC
WM5 using ActiveSync 4 but the option is greyed out.
If I disconnect my PPC and connect my smartphone, the settings option is
