I have a palm tungsten E which uses hotsync to sync data.
i installed activesync 3.8 and got a partership after i had to install
the driver for the ppc. some program asked for activesync and then avantgo..
i shut the pc down and now i can`t get it to sync anymore.

Generally, the sync works fine and I have set the device to remain always
connected.
After a certain amount of time, I notice that the connection is lost.
ActiveSync won't activate on the device, so I have to reset.

I have a mini laptop that is a nec 780 mobile pro and when I hot sync to my
home computer the spreadsheet is changed to the XP version and when I hotsync
back to the mini laptop I call up this spreadsheet and it will not read it
due to the spread sheet has been reformated for the ...

I am experimenting with several differeny ways of syncing, and regardless of
whether its via USB, or via the internet and using wireless active sync ...
i am finding the following behaviours.
1) Activesync completely freezes.

I'm using the Audioox SMT5600. I'll plug in the USB - > Ba-Blunk <
ActiveSync connects.
After a few minutes though > Plink < ActiveSync just disconnects. Why is
this happening?

I have a Dell x30 using activesync 3.8 and trying to sync with 2 computers.
It will sync fine with one computer but when I try and sync with the other
computer it tries to create a new identity.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have a HP Media Center PC that came with MS Works 8.0 installed.  I can
sync Files and Favorites and am offered (Under Options in ActiveSync ver 3.8
or 3.7.1) Office Calendar. Contacts, etc.  I don't want Office (I'm too
cheap) as Works is all I need.

How do I sync only specific recipients from my Outlook global address list
without copying them to my contacts list?
My problem with copying them is that if a number changes on the Exchange
server, my contacts list is not updated.

We have a contact folder in our public folders on our exchange server.
I need to sync this onto my pda.
Can I do this?

Outlook always reports 5 unresolved items, sync's the rest of the inbox

I have 7 Pocket PCs Phone Edition which all are connected to an Exchange
2003. 5 of them do sync fine but 2 of them cannot sync. emails. I get no
error on the device or on the server.
