ActiveSync 4.0 not working after VS.NET 2003 uninstall14 Oct 2005 08:18 GMT2
I had both VS.NET 2003 and VS.NET 2005 Beta2 installed in my system.
Active Sync 4.0 Developer Preview was also installed. I decided to only
left the newest version, so I uninstalled VS.NET 2003.
Now, when I want to deploy my CF application into my device, it always

When I make an appointment in Outlook 2003 on my PC and sync with Active
Sync 3.8.0 to my Pocket PC the appointment shows up but the time is one hour
later.  If I make the appointment on the Pocket PC everything works

I am thinking of sync'ing my PDA with my office computer as well as my home,
specifically outlook details.  At home I am using outlook 2003 (no problems
sync'ing) but at work I have to make do with 2000.  Does anyone know if I am
likely to encounter problems doing this?

I have a Dell x30 (312MHz, wireless) and if I enter appointments into pocket
outlook, they get synced to Outlook 2003 no problem. However, if I enter
them manually into Outlook on the PC then the appointments aren't synced
over to the PDA.

I'm using Windows XP SP2 PC with 802.11g wireless network configured at HOME,
which is my sole Internet connection.  There are a few other PCs that

I have a second-hand HP Ipaq 5450 / laptop with XP/SP2. Ipaq still works

My phone, Audiovox 5600, is unable to sync automatically.  It is
getting the Connmgr_36 error.  However manually syncing the phone works
over the air.  IE - Start/ActiveSync/Sync works fine.
The error is stating:

I've discovered an issue with using Activesync in a domain environment
that uses folder redirection.  Unfortunately I cannot pinpoint the
