Everytime I try to sync with pc, it says "Synchronising" but nothing
happens. When I go to my MDA, ActiveSync, status... it states (translated
from Dutch):
Result: Server could not be found. Possible cause are temporary network

i am trying to connect a pocket pc running win ce.net 4.20 to an xp
pro, SP1 machine through a serial connection (com1); the pockect pc has
(should) active sync 3.5, while xp has active sync 3.8.
I can connect the device to the pc but it doesn't work always:

Why does active sync  4.1 not offer "replace items on on this computer with
the items on my device".
When you have a device that is more up to date you may want to force things.
Anyway, its not new.  I have seen it on Sony Ericsson and Palm.

I have tried just about everything I can find to get this to work and
nothing.  I keep getting the same error message.

I have a new Sprint PPC 6700 phone running WM5.0 and ActiveSynch 4.1. I have
not been able to get AS to recognize my device, although it does now see the
USB connection (PC is running XPpro w/ SP2). The connection activity times
