ActiveSync Hangs on "Looking for Changes"31 Dec 2005 22:00 GMT6
I currently own a Dell Axim X30. For several months I had no problems with
ActiveSync. Then, not associated with anything I can identify, ActiveSync
would start to hang at the "Looking for Changes" stage of synchronization,
which was shortly followed by an error message stated ...

Is there a way to get the old single line view when viewing Contacts (WM 2005
shows two rows now, which allows only half the amount of contacts to be
seen). Perhaps a reg edit?

My company here will not allow us to install our own programs onto our PC,
and they will only support ActiveSync ver 3.5.
I usually sync my PocketPC with my own personal PC at home using the latest
version of ActiveSync ver 3.8. I tried sync in the office but it won't allow

I have followed directions in numerous posts regarding the deleting of two
dlls and so on in order to downgrade from as41 to as38.  This is great...  I
can now sync via USB.

Running Outlook 2003 on desktop. WM5 on handheld. I like to keep my contacts
sorted on my desktop, but found that WM5 would only sync with main contact
folder. Subfolders were ignored. Once in the handheld I can re-sort, but I
cannot re-sort on the desktop or they won't update.

Activesync to Outlook broken! Help?28 Dec 2005 01:32 GMT3
When I was reinstalling some parts of Office 2003, I UNINSTALLED Outlook.
Then I REINSTALLED Outlook, email works fine.
BUT!!! ActiveSync will NOT see Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes in
Outlook. I get a message "Microsoft Outlook is no longer installed, so
