I have Active Sync 3.8.0 connecting to a Pocket Pc with Windows Mobile 2003
Second Edition Version 4.2.1088.  I sync with Outlook 2002 only.

I have been using Active Sync 3.7.1 for a while and have not had problems.
All of a sudden contacts, notes and calendar will not sync.  When it
attempts to sync I get the following message
'Sync cannot be complted because Microsoft Outlook cannot open the Contact

Someone could help me, I would like to save my SMS messages from
a HP h6340 with ActveSync 3.8 to my Outlook.

Since I upgraded my Axim X50v to WM5 and Activesync 4.1, I have not been
able to connect via USB. I get the following message:
"Pocket PC Networking, Unable to obtain a server-assigned IP address. Try
again later or enter an IP address in Network settings." on the Axim.

I can login to the exchange server fine using an outlook client and OWA and
OMA.  However, when I try to sync using my mobile device it keeps on asking
me for my password as if what I gave is invalid.  I have sniffed the

I can't copy big files via USB from PC to DELL Axim x51 (to SD memory) using
explorer, copy&paste. I updated ActiveSync from 4.0 to 4.1. With ActiveSync
4.0 I was able to copy 236MB file, but I'm unable to do it with ActiveSync

Had AS4.1, WM5 and XPsp1 installed on my work computer.  USB sync would not
work, PPC would not even connnect,  but IR sync would.  Had IT upgrade to
SP2, added firewall exceptions.  Now, PPC connects but will not sync.  I have
recieved error 0x80072EFF on the PPC.  USB and IR ...

All went to plan and everything works apart from the fact that after running
activesync 4 i now have a double entry of every task pre the update to
version 4.
Probable quite an easy fix but i cant find it..
