I'm running an o2 XDA exec (rebadged i-mate jasjar) with WM5 and the Active sync 4.0, that came with the package. I've noticed that AS is continually running in the background on my Exec. Even when I stop in in the task manager or via >settings>memory>running

I put 4.0 on my pc, tried to sync a Ipaq 3115, and everything went to (*&^. Now I can't uninstall 4.0, any suggestions?

For some reason I don't understand ActiveSync 3.8 is doing something strange, all of a sudden. I have a MDA Compact using Windows Mobile 2003 software. I also have the latest ROM from T-Mobile.

Is it possible to use wireless adhoce, or via TCPIP to sync with a desktop? My PDA has a wireless card and so does the notebook, was wondering if I can avoid docking and/or Bluetooth.

I have a user with a Samsung i730. I recently set up OWA behind a ISA 2004 server. The samsung, using a verisign certificate, can get to OMA using the same certificate. When I try to setup wireless activesync I get the error Internet_37

I've upgraded my iPaq HX2750 with Windows Mobile 5.0 using ActiveSync 4.0 - no problem upgrading the ROM in the iPaq. But after the upgrade, I've not been able to connect to the iPaq with ActiveSync 4.0 or 4.1.

I think there is problem to use ActiveSync 4.1 on IBM ThinkPad X32 Windows XP and i-mate Jasjar (Windows Mobile 5.0). It works only with IR. It doesn't work with USB and BT. Did any one manage to connect via USB or BT in this configuration?

I have some problems with activesync. I've set Windows XP to "no sounds" and now activesync uses the computer speaker to make a huge BIP at connection and disconnection. How can I stop that ? I don't want to unplug the PC speaker that can be usefull
