We have just updated to AS 4.1 from 3.8.
On 3.8 we managed to change the default file sync location in the registry
to a different path from the default.
After upgrading to 4.1 it has changed the path back to the default 'My
Activesync 4.1, Exchange 2003, internal and external IP addresses13 Jan 2006 04:51 GMT1
My company uses Exchange 2003 in a firewalled FE/BE server
configuration, sans a public SBS or ISA server. I recently received and
configured ActiveSync w/ Exchange on a Treo 700w. Worked like a charm
first try, pointing it at our external FQDN - mail.company.com - which

I've been using my Treo 700w successfully since I rec'd it late last
week w/ Exchange Activesync.  Today I started receiving the following
error message: "Activesync encountered a problem on the server.
0x8600108."  Does anyone have any information on what this error refers

Any ideas as to what this error message means, running Exchange 2003 SP2,

I'd like to know if this is possible:
I have a server application running on my desktop and I would like my
PDA client to connect to it using a .NET CF client that I have coded. I
do not have a wireless Lan and would like to use ActiveSync to test

Whenever I cradle my PPC6700, ActiveSync creates a NEW Network Card in my
connections (Local Area Connection 9 already!) listed as Windows Mobile

I am am getting the following error message from
ActiveSync 3.8:
"The following appointment cannot be written to Microsoft
Outlook due to error 80004004. The item will be skipped."

Activesync will connect and synchronize fine but automatically disconnect
after 2 or 3 minutes even though the device is cradled.  Any ideas?

I have a sprint pocket PC 6700 with ActiveSync 4.0.
I CAN sync with exchange when i am using the WIFI connection but when i use
sprint vision services (over the cellular line) it will not sync any
suggestions.  By the way i gave up trying to sync with usb.

Axim x51 syncs fine with active sync so getting Outlook email works fine.  I
need to install extended systems onebridge conduit to also sync lotus notes.  
Install hangs at the end waiting for device.  Device times out/hangs until I
end task.  Can these two exist?  If so, what is ...
