ActiveSync 4.1. has developed a condition, where - everytime it starts
synching - it pops up a dialog telling me it encountered a critical
error, from which - as it claims - it "... will be able to recover, but
next time I reconnect this may cause some changes since the last

When signing in, the handheld is unable to connect to MSN. Network
connection is active and I can browse. The error says "Logon to the MSN
Messenger Service failed because the service is not responding. Please

I am running Activesync 3.8 on XP to a Dell Axim X50V with WM2003.
My favourites that I saved on the PDA disappear when I sync and they are not
in IE 6.0 under Mobile Favourites.
I have tried removing Favourites from Tools/Options syncing and then

Just got a free copy of Symantec Antivirus for Handhelds, however it
won't run on WM5. I have an older Pccillin running for now, anyone know
if symantec will update their software or if there is somethign better

OK folks to save me from a reformat
I was running 3.8 with no problems, done a reformat on my PC as it needed
it.
Decided to update some software so decided to go for 4.1 worked for a few
ActiveSync 4.1, 86000108 Error, Axim X50v, Windows 2000, Out 2k309 Jan 2006 20:01 GMT5
Previously, my Dell PDA 2003 was working fine. I received my 5.0 upgrade disk
and now everything EXCEPT my e-mail is syncing. I receive Support Error
86000108 code. No e-mail is imported into Dell. I have done several resets.
All other folders appear to work such as tasks, ...

I have a Hewlett packard Ipaq which i've been having problems syncing
with. The emails/calendar items sync fine from the pc to the Ipaq but

I have severe troubles with ActiveSync 4.0 and my Dell Axim x51v

The first annoyance was, that at some point all calendar entries

I have a K-JAM Phone. I have installed the latest activesync. It detects
that something is connected - it says it is connecting, but never does
anything else. I have reset the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled
activesync, etc. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?
