Since a couple of days, when I connect and sync with my device (Dell
Axim X51v / WM5) it does no longer show up in Windows Media Player (and
hence it also doesn't sync media files any more...). Before that it
always appeared in WMP a few seconds after connection.

me for a password the first time that it attempted to sync with my
device. I selected remember password; however, every time the device
