When using ActiveSync 4.1 to connect my PocketPC (WM5.0) with my Exchange
Server 2003, an error occured:
"The security certificdate on the server is invalid. Contact your Exchange
Srever administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on the server."

We've have a user who we cannot get to synchronise with a MIS activesync
server.
Our set up is Exchange 2000 server with a seperate Activesync server (MIS
2002) in the DMZ.

I am unable to connect to activesync via bluetooth, although I have made a
connection with the PC. I cannot use the cradle or cable to establish a
partnership with Activesync.
I was able to do this however with another PC via bluetooth only.

Active sync throws the following error  0x8503001f telling me my profiles
don't match between my sprint pocket pc and my dell laptop.   I can not find
where the profile is on the pocket pc.   Any thoughts?

When I try to sync my "IPAQ RZ 1715" I get an error message that says
"Microsoft Outlook is no longer installed so active sync cannot continue to
run..reinstall Outlook". Outlook (2003) IS INSTALLED. I use it everyday. For
grins and giggles I put the "Office 2003" in the cd-rom ...

Is there a known problem with EXCH2000 Server?
I get no connection to the server. The only way is to sync via USB
cradle/bluetooth and the "normal" Outlook Connection.

But the behavior as to how activesync or windowsce actually manages
categories is still a mystery.

ok you begin a new partership. you sync (ver 3.8). At first contacts
syncs all items. then you select which categories to select. for
example category A and B. syncs successfully. Then you uncheck category
B, expecting that only category A contacts remain in the device. But

I have XP Pro SP2 with Outlook 2002 SP3. I also had a smartphone using
windows 2003 SE and activesync 3.8. This all worked fine and i had no
problems what-so-ever.
i have since upgraded my mobile to a T-mobile MDA compact II running windows
