My platform, Audiovox PPC6700, AS 4.1.  I just keep finding Active Sync
running in the background all the time.  I'm not sure how much memory it
takes, but if there's no schedule set to sync to I wonder why its starting?

When syncing with outlook if there is an all day event (one day) on the treo
it makes it a two day event in outlook. If I change it on the the treo it
syncs it to a two day in outlook.
If i change it to and hourly event it syncs fine.

I would have thought this would be easy but...
Until a few days ago, my pocketPC2003 was able to access a share on my
host machine.  Unfortunately, the machine needed to be cold-booted and
it is no longer able to see any machines on my network.

Has ANYONE got ActiveSync 4.1 to work with VirtualPC 7 (VPC)?
The switch to TCP communications for AS 4.x seems to have killed the
limited VPC compatibility.
My VPC sees the PocketPC WinMobile 5.0, but it shows up as a generic

Is it possible to setup activesync so that it synchronizes some of the
contacts in outlook?

I have a brand new Axim x51v with WM5 and AS 4.1. OS is Windows XP Pro
with all patches/updates applied.
The cradle is connected via USB to my Dell Notebook. Everything is
running with AC connected.

I cannot find a developer that has any earthly idea how to get pda-to-server
sync going.  Is there some issue involving kerberos authentication because
of Sharepoint?  We can't get past an 85010014 error.
Can anyone advise either a step by step resolution or a referral to someone

I've just upgraded to Active Sync 4.1 hoping this would cure my problem, but
alas it's still the same. If I put my XDA into the cradle and let it
synchronise, it seems to delete various files automatically. But then if I
restore them from the recycle bin, they get synchronised ...

I am having a problem with Activesync 3.8.
It tells me my device (MDA Compact) is connected, but when I try to explore
it I get the above message!

Unable to install ActiveSync 4.1 under Windows 2000 Server Edition.  I am in
an endless loop of running setup, restart computer, then runing ActiveSync
reruns setup.

After install of Service Pack 2 on Exchange 2003, all of our 6700 phones with
Mobile 5.0 will not sync with Exchange ActiveSync via over the air.  They
will sync with exchange via usb.  They are also able to access OWA.

I have just installed Google Desktop which I thought was very good

I have configured Activesync with Exchange settings, user account info and
setup the Work connection to point to our external IP. Also configured VPN
settings in the work connection.
When I use Activesync, it says Connecting to Mobile Web, dials GPRS but
