HPC Pro and WM5 syncing to same computer?08 Mar 2006 03:51 GMT1
I have a windows mobile 5.0 device, which requires Activesync 4.x and will
not sync under Activesync 3.x.
I also just got an old IBM Z50, which will not sync under Activesync 4.x,
but works great under Activesync 3.x.

I have just purchased an Orange M5000 and I am trying to connect to my PC,
using AS4.1, but for some reason AS just won't pick up the device and sync?

Active Sync and this 3630 had work haapier for months.
then i hardreset the PPC to clear up all the junk software i had try on
it. after the hard reset Activesync and PPC no longer able to make
connection.

I have installed 4.1 on both my laptop and a desktop.  I still have 4.0 on
another desktop.  Both computers with 4.1 do not recognise that my PDA is
connected.  Windows does as it recognises the hardware.  My PDA does as it
is trying to sync.  I have the SDK for Mobile 5.0 as ...

iPAQ PPC WinCE 4.20 -> ActiveSync v4.1.0 -> Laptop XP Pro SP2
Qtek WinMob 5.1.70 -> same AS client and Laptop as above
3trd party software -> Outlook API -> Outlook 2002

When connecting Hp Ipaq 2790 to cradle the intire wireless network is
killed. Have tried to connect on 2 different networks but same sh.t. Seems
like a connection is added on the local computer, and this connection tries
to recieve an IP-adress from the DHCP.

Whenever I connect my Windows Mobile 5.0 phone to my computer and activate
ActiveSync, my computer goes offline.  I do not lose my connection to the
server or the network on either my wireless or LAN connection.  Any ideas?

message in order to conserve space and reduce the transmission time.
Consequently, when you are reading a long message or message thread you see

I've got a Dell Axim running PocketPC 3.0. I currently don't have
Activesync installed on my computer.
Rather than dig out my old AS CD, can I use the latest MS AS
download, version 5? Or, is there a way to upgrade my handheld's
missing WCESmgr.log and outstore.log ?06 Mar 2006 18:45 GMT3
Can you lose your WCESMGR.log and the OUTSTORE.log?  I was at the mircrosoft
active sync page reading trouble shooting and it mentioned the above files to
locate and look for errors.  I did a search on my C: drive and can't find
these two.
