Any particular reason given by MS as to why they eliminated the Sync
Settings for Contacts in AS 4.1? I don't see anything about it in the MSKB.
I just installed 4.1 after using 3.7 & 3.8 for the last few years, because I
just purchsed a Cingular 8125 w/ WM5. I miss 3.8 already!

I finally got activesynch working with Outlook Connector yesterday and
synched email and calendar without issue.  Of course not without
reinstalling everything.  Today during my first synch it's acting

I have no appointments for birthdays and anniversary in my Calendar for the

I believe it creates an all day appointment in calendar when you sync it.

3.8 (and XP) and my Dell Axim X30 Pocket PC.  But I just installed F-Secure
and it stopped working.  Turning off F-Secure, it worked again.

I am getting support code 80070490 when I try to sync my iPAQ with my
computer.  No matter what I try I cannot get rid of this error.  I have
re-installed Outlook and upgraded to Activesync 4.1 but have had no luck.

This problem is driving me crazy.  I can connect my WM5 PDA/Phone once and
sync successfully once but if I disconnect from USB and later reconnect it
will fail to sync everytime.  I then disconnect from USB, turn off the PDA
(full off, not sleep mode), restart it, connect the USB ...
