MobSync installation issues09 May 2006 17:36 GMT2
I'm trying to install MobSync 0.9.4 on a user's pc (Windows XP) that
doesn't have administrative privileges.  The user has very few
privileges it seems, as I wasn't able to save files to C:\ (root).  I
was able to write to the user's Desktop however.
AS 4.2 and device name09 May 2006 14:23 GMT1
I have upgraded to AS 4.2 and since that I have the following problem: from
time to time it says that the device's name is in use and it makes you change
it in order to sync it. It happens in the two PCs where I connect it, home

I have installed activesync 4.2 beta on my win xp sp2 machine. Now if I
connect and disconnect my pocket PC multile times, suddenly the pocket PC
stops connectiing. The only way to solve the issue is to reboot the PC. I did
not face this problem with activesync 4.1.

AS 4.x and syncing over IP (WLAN, Ethernet, do not care)08 May 2006 23:27 GMT7

4.2 Beta?08 May 2006 19:45 GMT7
Worth upgrading? Or wait for final version?
4.1 sure is buggy, even worse than my previous 3.8. Will 4.2 finally be an
improvement in the weakest part of Windows Mobile (Activestync)?
ISA Firewall issues with Dell Axim08 May 2006 19:40 GMT1
Dell Axim X51v.  Running Active Sync 4.1. Desktop runs ISA 2000 client. The
only way to get active sync to work is to disable the ISA client. Is there
any other way to allow activesync with the firewall client on?
TIA
Active sync over wifi.... please put it back.08 May 2006 19:09 GMT1
I've seen this come up a few times, but find it so frustrating i have to
leave a mention myself.
Why on earth would you not allow WiFi active sync on a mobile device that
has wifi?
AS 4.2 RAPICINT error08 May 2006 17:13 GMT7

AS 4.1 would time out. So with the release of 4.2 I thought the problem would
be resolved. It wasn't. I would have thought ...
