I know this has been discussed many times before in here but I can't
really see many discussions about the final release of Vista and how to
actually get WMDC working WITHOUT installing the Beta 3 that's
available.

I have an Ipaq h5550 and am using XP Home edition on a Compaq 2200 series
laptop and Activesync 3.8. Everything was working fine until recently.  This
happens even after doing a soft reset on the Ipaq.
When I try to sync my device I get the message "Connecting", but that is as

i have a program in a cab file, i copy it to my sd
card, i run it to install the program, ok so far!
i dont want it to install in the default
directory, i want it to install on the sd card,

Is it possible to have a WM5 device sync a public folder containing contact
info?

When I sync my MDA from tmoblie I get the error message 860000108.  It has
been syncing nicely for about 3 months and then today I got this message.  
Any ideas?

I attempt to synchronise with my exchange server, that requier a client
certificate, but in my active sync 4.5, i can't get a client
certificate for my device,
can spomeone give a help please.

when i connect my ipaq to activesync, the tool bar
icon by the clock turns green, but the window is
minimised on the tool bar. it syncs ok. i cannot
get the window to open, i managed to maximise it

I installed some software on a guest device.  Now every time I synch my
primary device, the add/remove dialog opens with all of my primary software
checked.  I tell the system to go ahead & reinsall the software and the job
runs fine.

I'm using outlook 2002 / winXP.
I want to be able to sync my pda's calendar with my laptop, so I've
set up a new profile called "sync" in outlook.
When I go to the control panel to set up a new e-mail accout, I select

       Is there a way to copy the ROM files to any other folder in Pocket
PC and also delete or overwrite the files stored in ROM.

sync any of the Outlook 2003 services that it previously had with an older

When I enter an appointment in my (Outlook 2003) calendar at home, I insert
some specifics about the appointment within the appointment itself.
E.g.
Appointment title "Meeting Vodafone"

I have a small question : I'm using ActiveSync 4.5b to synchronize my
PC with my SPV C600 (under Windows Mobile 5). Everything use to work
fine since I tried to install a software on the SPV that crashed
ActiveSync. Since that, I was not able to get ActiveSync working fine,

I have 2x Pocket WM5 active syncing with an Exchange 2003 (SP2). Both
devices are identical however, one displays appointments 1 hour out of sync
with the server (and his desktop). All time zones appear to be correct and
each is setup identically.
