I have a phenomenon that I find most annoying: when I put my PDA into
the cradle, AS starts fine and it will synch ok. But about 15 seconds
later it suddenly disconnects. I can't do anything that takes longer,
like exploring the device or even opening Tools => Options in AS ...

Been installing the DST patch on several PocketPCs, and all of them but one
rebooted itself after it was installed.
This one that didn't reboot, how can I check if it actually installed? And
if it didn't, then what to do?

All of a sudden today I'm getting this error code 85010014 and I
don't know what to do with it. I assume that it's not syncing when
that error code comes up. Any advice?

we have 20 x O2 xda minis
these have just been changed over from xda exec
all has gone fine except for one of the phones

I don't know if this is the right place to post this...I couldn't find any
way to report it directly.
I'm using ActiveSync 4.5 (which I had to install for the DST patches) and
synching with a Treo 700W running WM5.0 .

I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows Vista and now I'm trying to
syncronize my Dell Axim x51 which has WM 2003 to Windows Mobile Device Center
via bluetooth but WMDC does not recognize the device.  The computer
recognizes that the device is connected and the PDA recognizes ...

I've followed all the suggestions I can find trying to fix this problem
(including suggestions on bevhoward.com and www.pocketpcfaq.com).  I think
there is a
reference to a thread regarding the 0x8000700e error topic, but I sure can

May I ask when the next Service Release for WMDC is planned to be released ?

I synchronized my htc tytn with outlook 2007 on xp platform for 3 months.
Than I had the worst idea of my life and set up windows vista.
Now I'm using Windows Mobile Device Center instead of Active Sync, and I
can't sync anything.

I'm facing a weird problem with syncing media items by Windows Media Player
11 on Vista to the storage card of the WM5-device.
The WM5-device hangs after a couple (5 or 6) of songs when I use the sync
option in WMP, after the hang I can only reset the device with the pen.
