I have ActiveSync 4.5.0 running in Win XP Pro. I have Win Mobile 5.0 on
Cingular 8525. I am using Outlook 2003.
Notes can be stored in Main Memory or on a Storage Card on the mobile device
It appears that only Notes stored in Main Memory get sync'd to Outlook 2003.

I am using Windows Vista and Outlook 2007.
If I enter an appointment on my PDA and sync it with Outlook, no problem.
However, when I sync Outlook with my Cingular Smartphone, ... that same
appointment is now 1 hour earlier on the Smartphone.

I had no problems syncing my HP Jornada 720 under Activesync 4.2 under
Windows 2000.  After redoing the computer I lost the setup file for
Activesync.  The new version 4.5 is not working and the old 3.8 is not
installing.  Can I still get 4.2 and if so, where?  Thanks.

Is there any way to sync anything other than the default calendar?  I keep
work related and personal items in seperate calendars.  At home the personal
is my default with the work calendar as the alternate.  This is reversed at

I'm trying to figure out why WMDC will not open on my PC.  I've tried using
msconfig to disable almost everything, I've tried the /show (and /SHOW)
switch, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled more times than I want to think

With ActiveSync, after creating a new partnership, the "Combine or Replace" dialog appears to allow
me to overwrite (an option) my device (all device items are replaced with desktop items).
Can this be done with Vista and Windows Mobile Device Center?
