I recently upgraded from a Dell Axim III to a new Axim 51v. This came with Windows Mobile 5.0, replacing PocketPC 2003 that I was familiar with, and Activesync 4.1, which replaced the earlier version I was using. I find two changes here which concern me.

Upgraded to AS4.5. Now, when synching, get "Attention Required" for Notes, Favorites and Files. Changing to an Administrator type account clears this; but I do not want to run as an Administrator.

I can not sync my Windows Mobile 2003 SE device (an Axim X30) with WMDC 6.0, because "Windows mobile device" driver loading fails. I don't understand why it doesn't use "Axim USB sync" driver instead. It seams to be loaded correctly.
