I am hoping someone can help me.  I purchased a new laptop with Windows
Vista Home Premium and would like to be able to sync my PDA to it.  I
followed the instructions on the Windows Mobile Device download and got the
software installed.  I created a partnership.

I recently upgraded from a Dell Axim III to a new Axim 51v.  This came with
Windows Mobile 5.0, replacing PocketPC 2003 that I was familiar with, and
Activesync 4.1, which replaced the earlier version I was using.  I find two
changes here which concern me.  

Activesync 4.5 Beta had been synchronizing Outlook 2002 with my Dell
Axim X50v and Cingular 8525 for several months.  However after
interrupting the sync process a few times (4.5 Beta seems to take a
long time to sync)when I had to leave and take my pocketpc with me in

Now, when synching, get "Attention Required" for Notes, Favorites and Files.
Changing to an Administrator type account clears this; but I do not
want to run as an Administrator.

Can not get Dell X51V to sync with Outlook 2007.  Brand new Dell Axim only
two days old.  Nothing installed but Outlook Business Contact manager for
PPC.
Deleted and reinstalled WMDC version 6.0.6783.

After a hard drive failure (and replacement) I need to reinstall ActiveSync
so my Axim5 can communicate with my computer.
It is a pretty old PPC -- will the current version of ActiveSync run with

I can not sync my Windows Mobile 2003 SE device (an Axim X30) with
WMDC 6.0, because "Windows mobile device" driver loading fails. I
don't understand why it doesn't use "Axim USB sync" driver instead. It
seams to be loaded correctly.
