Issues:
1. Since I upgraded to 4.2, the device automatically connects when I plug it

I have an XP Pro - SP2 laptop, up to date with respect to Windows Updates.
I have a UT StarComm PPC 6700.
The device CD came with Activesync 4.1.  I have tried to load Activesync 4.5
also.

I used 4.1 for long time, but recently I found it does not start up, then I

Hello--
In upgrading my WM5 phone (cingular 2125), the MS site suggested that
I upgrade Activesync from 4.2 to the latest version (4.5).  I did so,
and now my phone won't sync.

I also upgraded my system to visa the other day only to find that i have to
use microsofts sync centre and this to my horror will not convert my
spreadsheet files on my IPAQ over to the excel format that activesync used
to do, this now means i can use Excel to view and edit them ...

past "synching folders" and will not sync until a message appears on the PPC
stating "A critical error has occurred. The next time you sync, you will

I was just trying to copy a 515 MB file to the (2 GB) CFcard in the PDA, but
it seems I can't get it done.
I see up to 3 blocks appearing of the progress bar and then they disappear

I just purchased a motorola Q and I am trying to set up my subfolders for my
contacts and my inbox.  There is nothing in the settings for contacts
subfolders - can I use subfolders? My old palm TREO could.
