i can't install activesync 4.5 on my xp s2 ...
i've tried with older version ... same pb ...

I have an Ipaq hx2495b with WM 5.0 and was using ActiveSync 4.2 when
 it no longer would sync and just continued to look for changes. I
upgraded to AS 4.5 to see if that were the problem to no avail. Now
