Despite the horror stories I read about it, and despite the fact that
I don't need it because I only buy non-DRM e-books (at Fictionwise and
Baen, plus some free ones from BlackMask), I decided to give Reader
2.2.3 a try on my Dell (PPC2002).

They go through the download process and then the reader

I am trying to download ebooks and when I download I open
the file and my IPAQ is set to sync continuously, but the

Does anyone know if the above-mentioned book is in e-book form?  I have the hard copy, but it is huge.  To be able to reference it from the pocket pc would be tremendous.

Hmmm, it looks like you have done it all correctly but just to make sure:
Is the reader on your PPC 2.2.2 or later?  It should be to read the latest protected ebooks.
I have never bought a DRM-protected MS Reader book myself but many unprotected.  They are automatically stored in ...
