I just hit on the Speed Reading Plus program for PocketPC by accident
and downloaded a trail-version. I was just testing it and needed
nearly half the time for a normal text with this Speed Reading Plus
Program than with PocketWord.

So I bought an encrypted eBook and the site, Fictionwise, wouldn't
even let me download it until I downloaded, installed, and activated
Microsoft Reader. Reasonable, I suppose. But that was before I entered
Microsoft Reader Hell, which is probably why so many Windows people

I use Microsoft Reader to listen to Audible audio books on my Pocket PC. I
forget why now, but I didn't like Audible Reader for PPC much, and preferred
Microsoft Reader's functionality for that better (perhaps it was the

I agree completely.  I just ran out of activations, and
now I can't read my ebooks.  I've tried to put in a
request for more activations, it was denied, and then
tried to call Microsoft.  The people who answered the

I am writing an illustrated book for children.  I was advised that an
illustrated book doesn't sell well.  I wanted to get your opinion.  My thought
with illustrations, it would be a large file.  But if I change it into a pdf
file, it won't be as big.  Please give me some feedback.

WhenI try to activate my reader on my Axim (Windows Mobile
2003), I get to the Sign In screen, I put in my my
passport info and click the submit button, and it brings
me right back to the Sign In screen. I have done this

My Windows installation is a serious mess, and I've decided I need to
do a fresh reinstall. Is there any way to do this without having to
reactivate the desktop version of MS Reader and have that count as an
extra activation?
