Hi, what softare can I use to get a better compression for my mpegs on my
pocket PC ?

A bit confused as to why when synchronizing my iPAQ 3850, Microsoft
ActiveSync now identifies the device as WinCE. I'm fairly certain that up to
a couple of weeks ago ActiveSync displayed as PocketPC, but now even the
folder in My Documents has been changed to WinCE My Documents.

       I will soon be upgrading from the Toshiba 740 to a Toshiba 805. I
use the Sprite backup plus software to create a self reinstall backup on my
cf card. Can I simply put this card in the 805 and execute the restore, or
is it more complicated. After 2 to 3 years of installing ...

Does anyone know if you can use ACT 5.0 w/PPC or do you have to upgrade to
ACT 6.0?

When I play a song, I then close media player, and try to delete, but it
says file may be in use??? cannot delete.  how do I get it out of use???

Can I use and IPAQ 5550 or 2210 and a bluetooth cell phone to go on the net?
Can I leave it on 24hrs 7 days a week?
I need a permanante connection to the net, because I want to use the IPAQ to
receive alerts via email in case of emergencies.

I have a 2210 and recently lost the ability to view my channels. It appears
the "AvantIE" file has gone missing in action and I cannot seem to
redownload it from the avantgo website - stating that it is already
integrated in Pocket PC 2003 version.

I want to develop an application so that users can get feeling of

I recently upgraded from a iPAQ 3850 to an iPAQ 2215.  I have a 64MB
SD card that I have had no problems with when using the 3850.
However, when I insert the card in the 2215 it is not recognized.  I
also have a 32MB MMC card and when I insert that in the 2215 I can see

mine is 1940, ppc2003.
i use usb cable to sync with my desktop, which is running w2kp.
when i go to pocket IE, and type a web address, "Cannot connect" error
occurs.

i like to play some simple graphic games, like chess, however, it may need
IE to enable graphics
anyidea how can I do that?

The IPAQ 5550 has 128MB of RAM.  Is this for application only, or can I
store data in it.  If I put a 512MB SD card, can I say I encreased my ram to
640MB?
