Pocket Word files converts unicode characters wrong!27 May 2004 21:21 GMT6

Cannot delete WAV file27 May 2004 20:41 GMT6
A WAV file from a long deleted game cannot be deleted. I
cannot change it's attributes I guess because it is
loaded in ROM. Can I start the PPC without loading this
file in ROM? Is there any way to delete it? Thanks!

Upgrading SmartPhone 200227 May 2004 17:50 GMT2
Is it possible to upgrade a 2002 SmartPhone to the 2003
OS?  I'd like to develop for the .NET compact framework

Beginner questions27 May 2004 13:58 GMT1
I've just got a GPS PPC combo. Have had a cheapo Palm in the past, which I use for addresses etc. It would be useful to put some of the addresses and appointments onto the PPC (although the battery life means I'll probably keep the Palm as the main machine)
The PPC works well, but ...
best way to be crashproof and dataloss-proof?27 May 2004 13:33 GMT12
I come from a palm background. With palm, it's easy, if something
wrong happens to your handheld, you just hotsync, and then everything
is restored. It's 100% reliable and if you'd used a backup software to
back up to an SD card then that's been 100% reliable in my experience.
