Having bought an iPAQ2490 to replace my old iPAQ2210 which ahs been dropped
once too often I will shortly be offering the old device to a friend of
mine.
I'm assuming a hard reset will wipe all data from the 2210? Can someone

Can someone explain the difference between the two platforms as i have
to write an application that will work on pocket pc 2003 and ce 5.0.
from what i understand now i could create a ce 5.0 build and just

I've got PocketPC with WM5.0 and I'm using PocketMechanic software,
that has some option to clear duplicate notifications in notification
queue.

My Toshiba e800 works well with my laptop, but I need to synch it with a
second desktop PC at work.

I have Cingular 8125 PPC running DirectPush against Exchange 2003 server SP2.
The email sync is working perfectly.  However there appears to be a maximum
emails in my inbox of only 15.

I am trying to make a VPN connection from my Treo 700w to my Watchguard
Firebox to access systems on my office network. The Windows Mobile 5.0
PPTP VPN paramaters seem pretty straight forward - just like in Windows

I am hoping to get some assistance from people that purchased a Palm
handheld in the last few months. Palm is having a contest for members
to get the most number of Palms ID codes collected. Basically they give
the person points for each palm id that is submitted. This is not the

Ultimately, if I'm on a treadmill, or wherever, I want to be able to control
volume without pulling out the stylus and needing both hands or a stable
surface. I was thinking of using the rocker button (up/down) for volume
control but didn't see a way to do it.

When I close pocket word, It takes a long time to listview files of known
types bexause there is lots of htm files. Despite that I have the
tool->option->files to listview set to "pocket word and pure txt docs", it
was doing the same next time activated and closed. Thank you!
