I'm getting a weird horizontal flicker when playing WMV
videos with the WMP10 OCX embedded in a webpage.  The
videos are encoded 320 x 240 with WME9 using WMV9 and WMA
9.1 codecs and small bitrates.  I'm testing on a Dell Axim

I want to disable camera on device rx3715. I found a file in windows
folder. that is named as 'hpcamapp.exe ' . But this file is in ROM so
it can not ben deleted or renamed. I was wondering if there was a way
to disable the camera on the device in the software.

The O.S. is windows PPC 2003 with WMP 9, it seems to me that this o.s.

I have a Pocket PC Dell Axim x30, and some how have managed to download WP 10
on it. Fine, except my PC has windows 98 SE on it, and will not load WP10. I
am out of sync. (how its loaded WP10 I dont know)
Has any one any ideas how I can roll back to WP9 on the x30. I have tried

Can you guys suggest me a light software to play videos (such like mpeg or
avi or better divx - xvid) on pocket pc ?? Where can I get it ??

I have mp3's and wma's on a 1gb sandisk card in a 4700 ipaq.  I use windows
media player to listen to music when I walk at the mall.  Lately, it cuts
out while playing about the sixth or seventh song, requiring me to do a soft
reset.  Is this likely a card problem, or what else ...

I am using x50v, which comes with WMP 10.  Anyone can help on these 2
questions :
1) I can't paste a selected text in "Play from URL" window ? is it a bug in
WMP 10 ?

I have a HP rx3115.  I saved a number of MP3 files to the
storage card and could add them to playlists when I first
starting using the program.  From the "menu" button, the
library command used to show "my device" and "storage

No video display (black window) when trying a local playback of wmv file in PIE.
The toolbar shows up, though.
Finally tried to move wmv from external media to My Documents, with modified path, still no luck.
Nothing wrong with the video itself (wmv8/wma8), runs fine in WMP10.

I cannot play all of my .wmv files. Only some.
Any suggestions

is there a way to configure the PPC to be able to see the network through
active sync connection?
i need thid to be able to play media files from the network

I have a Pocket PC application, written in C/C++, which, amongst other
things, launches the Windows Media Player, with an argument.  The
argument is the name of the file that the player should open and play.
In version 10.0, the argument has to be delimited with quotation marks.

is there a plug in that will make WMP for PPC 2002 uPnP combatible (client)
?if no, then is there a PPC 2002 Media player that work as uPnP client?

I have a pocket pc x30, and somehow I have managed to load WP 10 on it. I
dont know how it could have got loaded. It came with WP9. and my PC is
running Windows 98SE, and won't accept WP10. Therefore not in sync. I have
tried using remove programs on the x30, but it wont delete ...

When I try to copy a music file (wma) from my laptop to my pocket pc (iPAQ),
it copies up to 99%.
However, it's  preventing me to complete copying process by the following
error message; "The network Path was not found".
