I am a veteran Pocket PC user, currently using an IPaq 4150 with PPC
version4.20.0 and Media Player version 9.  Always has worked fine.
Last week i got a virus on my PC, the Spybot.worm.  Don't know if it is just
coincidence, but my Media Player on the Pocket PC now doesn't launch ...

Hey, Everyone -
I'm trying to play some live and on demand content I encoded using WM 9
voice codec, but it refuses to play saying it doesn't have the codec.  The
device is a recent iPaq (don't have the model number, sorry) with Media

Is it just me or does PPC WMP create playlists backwards?

I recently bough pocketdvdwizard to convert movies (dvd) so I can view them
on my Acer N30 pocket PC.
The file conversion works great, reducing the file to about 90mb. The file
is then moved to a SD card (128mb) that I insert in my PPC.

Is there anyway that we can play an au file on the pocket pc?
Our new phonesystem send an e-mail to our pocketpc when we get a voice mail
and it is in the au format.

I am trying to download the correct version of Windows
Media Player for an IPaq Pocket PC.  
I have tried the HP handheld, the Compaq handheld, and
finally one just designated for Pocket PCs.

When I close Media Player 10 after playing either a video or an audio file,
my pocket pc 10 totally freeze. The only thing I can do is shut it down.
Tried several file types, try to play from both cards or main memory, same
issue.

I can't see the video from my wmv file on my ipaq 2215.  The audio plays
fine.  I synced the file over to my SD card but it still does not show the
video portion.   Any ideas?

I thought I downloaded the flash plugin for my ppc2003 iPAQ, but I
cannot select a .swf file and play it on the PDA.
I also made an .html file that called the .swf file, and it also would
not work.

I have quite a few AVI files encoded with the DivX codec. Is there a
solution for the PPC platform that will play these files?
FWIW, I have a Dell Axim X5 with WM2002. If I can find someone willing to
sell me the no-longer-marketed WM2003 upgrade CD, I'll upgrade to that.

I have WMP 8.5 for Pocket PC installed on my Dell Axim X5. When playing
longer MP3 files, if I pause the player, I can't resume the file--I have to
re-start it at the beginning.
It only seems to happen once the file counter has gone past the 12:00 mark.

Im embedding wmp ocx(6.4) on html andembedding html on the evc++ app.
amd im able to control the app quite well. but is it possible to find
whether the wmp on the pie is
1.playing the file

does this play mpeg files if not how do I convert to a wav file
