I'd like media player to automatically open the music folder on my storage
card when I press the media player icon. Is there a registry or some change
I can make to get this to happen? I'd love to exit (not pause) media player
and have it automatically go right to the last file ...

With low storage memory, when trying to delete a large media file (as
recommended), I get the message "Cannot delete "filename": There has been a
sharing violation.  The source or destination is in use."  That file is not
'Now Playing' and should be able to be deleted.

I installed TCPMP 0.71 on my iPaq rx1950 (w/WM5).  Then, those WMV files on
SD card that played well before play slowly (e.g. need to buffer before
start, discontuned in the middle to buffer again).  The problem happened even
I play those files with media player of WM5.

On any audio book that I download and copy using Windows Media sync, I can't
get the forward scroll bar to move past 5 hr 29 minutes. When I do, it pops
back to 0:0. This happens with all my wma audio books. It does not happen
when I play them on my computer using regular Windows ...

I installed a new SD card on my iPAQ hx2495 and can no longer sync/play
my purchased music (using MP10 manual sync options).  Music w/o DRM
will sync and play just fine.  My purchased tunes properties say I have
unlimited syncs.  I reinstalled my old SD card, and DRM songs already

I have an XDA IIs that apart from using it as a phone, email etc. is
handy for playing videos when I go away. I use DVD Shrink and DiVx
Encoder to scrunch a DVD down to about 170 Mb (the whole process takes
about an hour) and get a very smooth sharp picture using Sompy player.
