VPN hidden On IPAQ 5555 / PPC 2003 11 Aug 2003 22:36 GMT1
I have a ppc 5555 and I can't add a vpn on it because it does not show up at
all.
in this article shows that the connections window has a " add a new vpn
server" and I don't have that on mine. I have the same ppc 2003

I was talking to a Dell Axim tech support guy on the phone regarding my new
Dell "TrueMobile" 1180 wireless card, and he said that I could download a
program for Pocket PCs  from Download.com, called "Connect" ... that would
let me find Internet access points at coffee shops, ...

After a couple of weeks trying to access files on the desktop with my
Maestro I tried turning off my firewall, Sygate Personal Firewall, and
it works just fine.
So, this brings up two questions.

Bought myself a HP2200 pocketPC, I can connect and use
activesync via bluetooth, but cannot access the internet?
The windows 2000 server has a bluetooth USB dongle attached
and currently provides Internet access to all the LAN pc's

I'm using an iPAQ 5550 with a Sony Ericsson T68i. Is there an easy was to
configure a GPRS connection? I can't seem tofind a wizard or anything on

Ok don't laugh at my dynosaur but....has anyone been able to configure a
Jornada 540 to work with a Linksys wcf12 card?

I have an Ipaq 3975 w/ windows 2002 and a Belkin bluetooth
dongle. Currently the only way to access the internet is
to use ActiveSync. Due to glitches in ActiveSync which

Alright, I know this is somewhat off-topic but...
I currently have a T68i that I'm using with my 2210 (over bluetooth, of
course), but I'm with Cingular, my contract ends soon, and since I
absolutely HATE Cingular (and my T68), I want to move to a new carrier.

I got a HP iPAQ 2215 (PocketPC 2003) and the Linksys
Wireless CompactFlash Card and it doesn't work.  The
power light won't go on and the app for it won't open.  I
but one Wireless CF and I though it didn't work so I took

I have the Linksys WCF12 wireless Compact Flash installed
and the scan reports strong connectivity to my home
wireless LAN.  Problem is that when I open Pocket Internet
Explorer to browse the net, I get an error messgae that
