Ok, I'll just start out and admit that I am new to Pocket PC development and
know even less about available wireless technologies.
I have a client who wants to develop a Pocket PC application that will
send/receive data wireless via a web service that will run on a WebSphere

Is anyone successfully using a dlink DI-514 with a dell axim x5 (PPC

I'm able to connect to the network (both with and without encryption),
the d-link assigns the pocket pc an IP address, but that's as far as I

I'm trying to find a wireless PC card to run with my iPaq 3835 on a
802.11g network.  I understand that 11g cards for PPC are pretty much
not available right now, so I'm willing to settle for a 11b card.
I ordered the Orinoco Classic Gold PC Card, but after 7 hours on the

I've got a Viewsonic V37 and a SanDisk SDIO wireless card and they work
fine together, except that each time I switch the Pocket PC on I need
to eject and re-insert the SD card for it to be recognised.

I downloaded the new drivers from the Linksys site, which are supposed to
finally support PPC 2003. I cannot figure out how to make them work...
With the previous version there was a configuration utility that would let
you configure the SSID etc. I can't find how to configure those ...

Does WEP slow down the transfer rate on my sandisk wifi card?  I get about
2Mb/s.  I don't want to change any settings unless I can confirm that it
will help.
