i have the following problem with my iPAQ 4700. I have installed a wireless network at home. I don't broadcast my SSID and have WEP enabled as also MAC address filtering as security on my wirelles router.

I upgraded my ROM and the WLAN and it finds my linksys router no problem. The problem is The is no "wireless network' in my network connection folder on XP SP1. How can you set up a netowrk wireless with your PPC without it? Actually all I want is internet access on my PPC.

I own a Toshiba e-805 w/Windows Mobile 2003 2nd ed. & am trying to get to my email via OWA. I can reach OWA, log in & see my message headers. The problem I have is that opening a message requires a pop up window & Pocket IE doesn't support pop ups (as far as I've been told)

Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can ActiveSync over Wi-Fi only once and then it won't find my PC anymore? The first time I try it during the day, it generally works. Then if I try to sync again, even immediately following the first sync, it tries to connect but can't.

I apologise in advance if this is a dumb question. Does a PPC need to run any type of virus protection software when surfing the net? If I don't have it on my PC I am infected seconds after going on line. New to the PPC world. Thanks in advance..KCD
