WIFI Card Drivers for Pocket PC07 Dec 2004 12:28 GMT1
I have a ipaq 3970, and a belkin 802.11g wireless network
card, when I plug it into the ipaq the system asks me for
the card name. Have tried looking on Belkin's website for
drivers for PPC but no luck, where can I get these from?

I am using a Dell Axim X5 running Pocket PC 2002.
Attachments go to the Built In Storage folder. However the file extension
becomes ".ATT".

The PDA wireless works ok with encryption turned off on the router.
But not with it on.
The main key is something like abcdef_123456
Do I use this as the shared key as well or must this be different?

I have a HHP Dolphin 7450 Data Terminal (a wireless barcode scanner).
The operating system is Pocket PC 2002.  I would like to use this
device wirelessly through a Cisco Aironet access point to add and edit
records in a MS Access database that resides on a Windows network.

I have a pocketpc with wi-fi and access to the sprint wireless data network.
I'm looking for a service to do sms from the machine.  On my laptop, I use
the service from bigrfoot, but they have yet to come out with a PPC version.
Sprint incidentally is useless for sms's.

I have a Dell Axim X50.  I can connect to the internet via wireless systems
away from home but can't connect on my home wireless system.  I get a
message saying the page can not be displayed.  Is there a solution for this?

I have an ipaq 3870 which I upgraded to pocket pc 2003. Is there a
compatible sd card for wi-fi internet?? I bought an ambicom card but
ambicom said the 3870 is not sdio ready while hp said it is. Any ideas???

Does anyone know of a LAN card for a Dell Axim30 Pocket PC using Windows
mobile 2003?  I have wireless working fine but some hotels I visit have
a Wired LAN access point and not wireless.  I am trying not to use a
dial up whenever possible.  Thanks in advance.  KCD

What is the best way to access the internet with my PPC??  I have seen
different ways:  Wi-Fi, GPRS, modem.  Which is the best way to hook up to
the internet????  I will not be next to a desktop system, I will be outside
using it???  Any suggestions???

I am trying to get on the internet with my iPAQ 2210 and a CF wireless card
via my main PC which has ICS. Usually it just works but every now and again
the iPAQ will stop resolving addresses and give page not found errors.
Looking on Google reveals that the Generic Host Process ...

Does anyone know how or why my wireless signal is weak.  The router is new,
the laptop is new as well.  If anyone knows how to increase the signal
strength, please let me know.  I appreciate your help.

I have a "soft" modem (DLL) that can run in any PPC application process
space and uses the audio connector of the PPC.  When any type of cell phone
with a head set jack is connected to the PPC's audio jack you can send and
receive data.  It is slow but it can send and receive ...
